Get a FREE Uber Ride This July 4th

July 4th is a time for family, friends, celebration and honoring the founding of our great nation. However, celebration is synonymous with the consumption of alcohol. Although having a few drinks is well within your rights and moderate consumption can even have some certain health benefits, getting behind the wheel after having too many can turn a day of celebration into a tragedy.

Just a few years ago, on the Fourth of July in 2011, Diane Bronston and her 11-year-old daughter, Anna, were killed by a 19 year old drunk driver in Kansas City. Their deaths represent two of the 3,314 drunk driving related deaths that occurred in Missouri between 2003 and 2012. Although the numbers have been decreasing over the years, alcohol still contributes to nearly one third of all traffic related deaths in the United States each year.

At Fowler Pickert Eisenmenger Norfleet in Kansas City, we know the damage and devastation that can be caused by drunk driving. That’s why this July 4th, we have joined Uber to ensure that you and your loved ones have a safe means of getting home this Independence Day.

Our firm has purchased $5000 worth of Uber credits that we are giving out to Kansas City residents for free! No gimmicks or strings attached, we just want to see our neighbors get home safely. Just fill out the pledge below and a code good for $10 worth of Uber credit will be emailed to you for use on the 4th of July. By encouraging Kansas City residents to make safe choices this year, hopefully we can cut down on drunk driving related crashes and potentially even save a life.
